Say what you mean.
Plain English beats clever small print. We want customers to understand what a service does, what it costs and what happens next.
Our principles
Technology changes quickly. The basics of treating people properly don't need to.
Plain English beats clever small print. We want customers to understand what a service does, what it costs and what happens next.
A sustainable business needs to make money. It doesn't need confusing prices, manufactured urgency or unpleasant surprises at renewal.
We would rather keep a customer because the service is worth keeping. Cancelling or leaving shouldn't require an obstacle course.
Personal information deserves care. We aim to collect only what is useful to provide and protect the service, and not simply because collecting more data is possible.
No business gets everything right. When something goes wrong, the useful response is to understand it, communicate clearly and put it right where we can.
That is a useful test for features, prices and policies. If a decision would make us uncomfortable on the customer side of the counter, it probably needs another look.
In short
There are more complicated ways to write a company philosophy. We prefer this one.
